We're asking guests to donate to DMV NSBE, Jr., a Pre-College Initiative Program of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) designed to stimulate interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields. As Lisa McDowell said, "We're happy to get the kind of money that jingles, but we'd rather get the kind that folds." In all seriousness, please give to the kids at your level of comfort.
It's going to be a special day and you'll want to be in the building when we raise a glass in celebration of International Black Women's History Month. Don't miss this opportunity to gather, commune, and elevate with The Collective.
